Kamico,
(Mico for short) was surrendered to a high kill shelter when her
family moved and could not take her. This sweet little girl was
terrified. The shelter staff were very grateful to Prone for
coming to save her.
Mico is a a lap diva, she adores being
on your lap as much as she can. She also enjoys going shopping
in her little doggy purse.
Mico did have a few seizures soon after coming
into rescue. Bloodwork was done and results were normal. It has
been almost a year since any seizure episodes. We feel they were
a result of the stress of being abandoned in a shelter. She also
has a ruptured crustate ligament so she does slightly favor one
rear leg when she over does it playing. Her Dr. tells us surgery
would not improve it, but would cause additional pain. She does
take 1/4 tsp Tumeric daily to help it, and when she does over
do it playing she has a wheelchair to use.
Mico is appx 3 years old, microchipped, spayed,
current on vaccines and heartworm preventatives.
